>> Since April 1st 2002, Eastbourne and Hastings Music Libraries have closed, their Music Librarians made redundant or moved elsewhere.
>> Lewes Music Library has been demolished and its music collection severely reduced.
>> Musical scores, reference books and recordings from all three libraries have been either 'weeded out' and sold, or put into storage.

These actions by East Sussex County Council have deprived local musicians, music lovers, teachers and students of an essential resource. If you are as concerned as we are about these cuts, please join MULAG and help us to campaign urgently for better long term Music Library provision.
